The results are based on data from more than 20,000 North American customers of the company, whose social media usage was monitored and analyzed to determine the most suitable time of day for greater engagement. As we say, it should only be used as a guide, as the ability to post at one point or another can only be determined by every community manager based on his company's strategy and audience.
Facebook: According to information collected by Sprout Social, the best days to post on Mark Zuckerberg's Social Network with 2,740 million active users are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 9am to 1pm. In addition, Monday's posts, from 9am to 12pm, are registering a high rate of responses. In contrast, Saturdays are the days when Facebook posts generate the least response.

-Instagram: The best time of the week to post content on Instagram is Tuesday from 11am to 2pm, and also any day from Monday to Friday at 11am. Sundays, on the other hand, are the days when messages disclose the slowest response rate. As with Facebook, the Sprout Social report showed that in 2020, due to the pandemic and restrictions, the time periods in which posts reached high response rates increased.
